The coat of arms' description is as follows (original in Spanish): "The coat
of arms is circular, red in color, denoting greatness, strength, fearlessness,
and wisdom—the principal virtues that exalt the No. 1 Combat Air Command. Its
name is highlighted at the top in capital letters, embroidered in high relief in
black, and at the bottom, three letters of the same relief, which identify the
branch in abbreviated form."
